THANK YOU

I dropped what I was doing and start writing.

That is how I know something is real. Not planned. Not scheduled. Not outlined. It just burst out... like a small sword suddenly freed from its scabbard.

This one is about thank you.

Saying thank you and giving thank you are not the same thing.
Most people treat them as one gesture. A nod. A message. Maybe a gift.

But I think it is a two-edged sword. And a diamond... with many spectra.

When you say thank you... you are standing at the exit of a cave you were once stuck in.

Someone helped you get out of your problem. They helped you change for the better. They extended their hand at the season you were depleted. Maybe they did not even know they were doing it.

You were able to walk out of that door because of them.

But when you give thank you... it is different.

You are not only facing the person who helped you.
You are also facing the person you once were.

And you give back... not always in the same form you received it. Not always to the same person.

But in the form you know. In the form you actualized, in the person you’ve become, your being.

Because you already became something. And that something is now your instrument of giving.

Saying thank you often looks backward.
Giving thank you carries it forward.

Thank you has many forms. Many spectra.

Material. Physiological. Spiritual. It can be simple words of gratitude, an act of returning the favor. A prayer uttered or in thought.

All of those are real. All of those count.

But the brightest spectrum...
...is when gratitude becomes transformation.

When you become more fully alive... not only for yourself, but for someone else.

Not becoming great for display. But becoming useful... because someone once helped you rise.

People change. Or they harden. Either way, time does not leave us untouched.

But to change because you were inspired by someone... that is a different category altogether.

Damn... that person is so good.

You feel it. You are moved by the vibrata of their life. Not by their correction. Not by their instruction.

But by the evidence of who they had become or just by their being.

It wakes the better structure inside you. Because when they vibrate at the frequency of who you want to become... you move.

And then time passes.
You look back one day and connect the dots.

You are not the person you once were. And they had something to do with it.

That is the moment you say thank you.
But do not stop there.

Say thank you with your mouth.
But give thank you with your life.

Because the deepest gratitude does not end backward... with the person who helped you.

It travels forward... toward someone standing where you once stood, toward another soul who is still in the place you once were.

They may not be asking yet. They may not even know what they need yet. But somewhere, someone is in the same place you were.

And your changed life... your patience... your timely word... your extended hand...

That is your thank you given.

Keep on saying thank you.
Keep on giving thank you.
Keep on probing.
